At Fanta Fusion, every detail counts. Our scoring system is designed to maintain competition excitement and fairness while reflecting actual on-field performances. Our system rewards wise choices and makes sure that every matchweek is jam-packed with action, regardless of your level of experience as a fantasy manager.

How Points Are Calculated

Both forwards and midfielders

• Goals scored are highly rewarded; forwards receive a little higher compensation than midfielders.
• Assists: Playmakers are rewarded for setting up chances for goals.
• Key Passes & Shots on Target – Tactical contributions like setting up chances and testing the goalkeeper earn extra points.

Guards

• Clean Sheets: If their team does not give up any goals, they get points.
• Rewarding defensive excellence and pivotal stops are tackles and interceptions.
• Extra points are awarded to defenders who contribute to an attack through goals and assists.

Goalie

• Saves – Points awarded for each save, with bonuses for penalty stops.
• Clean Sheets – Big rewards for goalkeepers who keep the opposition scoreless.
• Goals or Assists – Rare but rewarded when goalkeepers contribute to scoring.

Penalties & Deductions

• Negative Points – Players lose points for own goals, yellow cards (-1), red cards (-3), missed penalties, or defenders/conceding multiple goals.
• Risk vs. Reward – High-risk players can deliver big points but may also cost you, so balance is key!

Extra Points for Extraordinary Work

Bonus points are awarded to exceptional players for:

• Extremely involved: passes, touches, and general impact on the game.
• Clutch moments can include game-changing assists, penalty saves, or goals that win a match.

• Standard Mode: An equitable system for conventional leagues.
• Custom Scoring: Regardless of your league’s preference for attacking, defending, or creativity, you can modify point values to fit its style.
